Cristiano Ronaldo who scored the winning penalty in the UEFA finals to help his team Real Madrid win the 2016 title cup tops the list. Basketball superstar LeBron James and the famous footballer Lionel Messi were on 2ND and 3rd position in the list. The rankings were based on the combined salary, endorsements, google popularity and social media followers.
Virat Kohli listed in eighth position acquires over $25m in winnings and endorsements. The favorite cricketer amongst many Indians has about 39 million followers combined both on facebook and twiiter . Other Indian sportspersons who made it to the list are Cricketer MS Dhoni who holds a 14th spot in the list and tennis star Sania Mirza at 41st position.
