KFC, the iconic fried chicken brand which is favorite amongst all chicken lovers has surprisingly entered into cosmetic industry with edible nail polishes. And if you are guessing what the flavor of these edible nail polishes would be, well! Chicken ofcourse.
In a statement to Adweek, creative director of KFC John Koay stated
“To use, consumers simply apply and dry like regular nail polish, and then lick—again and again and again. The recipe for our edible nail polish is unique and was specifically designed to hold the flavor, but to also dry with a glossy coat similar to normal nail polish.”
The flavor of the shades is inspired by their signature flavours-Original recipe and Hot ‘n’ Spicy.
Original color is nude and Hot ‘n’ Spicy is bright orange red.
The finger licking brand has carefully formulated the nail polish flavours from natural ingredients.
The company is launching two limited edition nail polishes to help promote its food in Hong Kong but what if the nail paint gets worldwide. Are you willing to try this finger licking good nail polishes or do you think the idea of edible nail polishes is weird??
