Milind Soman has done it again! This time in Florida, USA where he completed the toughest marathon in the world that takes three grueling days to complete – The Ultraman.
The Florida Ultraman tests the barriers of the human physicality with its 3-day long endeavor. The first day is a 10-kilometre swim and a 148-kilometre bike ride. The second day includes a 276-kilometre bike ride and the final day has an 84-kilometre run (this is twice the length of a full marathon on a single day!!)
In his trademark style, Milind covered his whole journey barefoot! A true mark of a marathoner!
Milind Soman is not the only Indian who has made us proud and there were four other Indians along with him who completed the arduous challenge – Abhishek Mishra, Kaustubh Radkar, Prithviraj Patil and Manmadh Rebba!
Like always, Milind’s mother supported his effort and was with him at the finish line. We can are just as proud as his mother is!
At the age of 51, Milind Soman continues to keep getting better with age and time. A living proof that age is no bar when fitness is concerned. It is the attitude that matters that makes him an inspiration to all the youth as well as the aged to incorporate fitness in our lives.
